Ruqya Treatment Process
Many people come to us feeling confused about what to expect from a session or what they should do after the treatment. For this reason, we want to clearly explain how the treatment process works and what happens after your session.
At our ruqya centre, we aim to provide authentic Ruqyah based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah while also encouraging every person to take an active role in their own healing through self-Ruqyah and spiritual strengthening.
Session Structure
Each in-person Ruqyah session is 45 minutes.
To ensure the session runs smoothly, we ask patients to arrive 15 minutes early.
The session usually takes place in three stages:
1. Initial Discussion (10–15 minutes)
Before the Ruqyah begins, the practitioner will speak with you to understand your situation. This includes:
-
-
- Your symptoms
- Your spiritual practices
- Your medical or emotional history if relevant
- Any events or experiences that may help identify the issue
- Your symptoms
-
This short consulation helps the practitioner determine the most appropriate Ruqyah approach.
2. The Ruqyah Recitation
After the discussion, the practitioner will recite Qur’anic verses and authentic supplications over you.
During the recitation, the practitioner may observe:
-
-
- Physical reactions
- Emotional responses
- Signs indicating the possible type of affliction (such as evil eye, magic, or jinn possession)
- Physical reactions
-
This helps determine the best treatment program for you to follow afterwards.
3. Personal Treatment Plan
At the end of the session, you will be given a self-Ruqyah program to follow at home.
This may include:
-
-
- Specific Qur’anic recitations / Ruqyah audios
- Daily adhkār (remembrances)
- Ruqyah water or oil
- Lifestyle and spiritual practices that strengthen protection
- Specific Qur’anic recitations / Ruqyah audios
-
The goal is not to create dependency on the practitioner, but rather to teach you how to heal and protect yourself through the Qur’an and Sunnah.
What Happens After the Session?
Healing does not always happen in the same way for every person. There are usually three possible outcomes:
1. Immediate Improvement
Some people experience relief during the session itself.
In these cases, the practitioner will still advise continuing self-Ruqyah for protection and stability.
2. Improvement After Following the Program
Many people begin to feel better after following the treatment plan at home.
In these cases, the self-Ruqyah program is often sufficient and no further sessions are needed.
3. Further Sessions May Be Needed
In some situations, a person may benefit from additional Ruqyah sessions.
This depends on the type and severity of the affliction.
However, we do not pressure anyone to book further sessions.
We leave that decision to the individual.
Important Clarification About Follow-Up Visits
Because we try to be respectful and avoid creating dependency, we do not chase clients or pressure them to return.
However, this sometimes creates confusion.
Some people assume they can return to the centre for follow-up consultations without booking a session, which unfortunately causes difficulties for both staff and other patients.
For clarity:
All in-person consultations and treatments are paid sessions.
If you wish to return for further treatment or discussion with the practitioner, a new appointment must be booked.

Our Intention
Our goal is not to make people dependent on the practitioner, but rather to:
-
-
- Help people understand their situation

-
True healing comes from Allah alone, and Ruqyah is simply a means.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do I need more than one Ruqyah session?
Not always.
Many people experience improvement after the first session and by following the self-Ruqyah program at home.
Others may require additional sessions, depending on the severity and type of affliction.
Each case is different.
Will you tell me if I need another session?
Yes.
During your session, the practitioner will usually advise you if further treatment may be beneficial.
However, we do not pressure anyone to return, as our goal is to encourage self-Ruqyah and independence, not dependency.
The decision to book another session is always left to the patient.
Can I come back to speak to the practitioner without booking?
Unfortunately, no.
All in-person consultations and discussions with the practitioner are part of the booked session time.
If you wish to return to discuss your case or receive further Ruqyah, you must book another appointment.
This allows us to manage our time fairly for all patients.
Why do you encourage self-Ruqyah?
In Islam, every Muslim is encouraged to recite the Qur’an and supplications for themselves and their family.
The Prophet ﷺ used to perform Ruqyah on himself and taught others to do the same.
For this reason, we always try to teach patients how to perform self-Ruqyah, so they can continue healing and protection at home.
Do you offer any free help?
Yes.
While in-person sessions are a paid service, we provide free guidance and educational material online to help people learn about:
-

- Self-Ruqyah
- Free online Ruqyah lives via social media platforms

This can be part of the healing process.
5. Book Another Session If Needed
If you feel that you need further help or guidance, you may book another appointment.
However, this is entirely your choice, and there is no obligation to return.
A Final Reminder
Ruqyah is a means of healing, but the cure comes only from Allah.
As Allah says:
“And We send down from the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers.”
(Qur’an 17:82)
Our goal is to help people connect with the Qur’an, strengthen their faith, and learn how to protect themselves and their families.
